Dr. Ifere is a business management specialist with focus on organisational effectiveness. He is the current Director of the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme and Coordinator of the EMBA programme of the University of Lagos Business School (ULBS).

Dr. Ifere has over 25 years experience working for multinational Oil and Gas Companies. He worked for Elf Oil, where he rose to become a senior manger and Head of Supply and Distribution, he also held various senior management positions in Total Nigeria PLC. Following his retirement in 2012, he has worked for Total Nigeria PLC, Oando PLC and Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN) amongst others as Operations/Turnaround Management Consultant.

He was educated at Auchi Polytechnic, University of Lagos, Lagos State University and Harvard Business School (Executive Education Programme). His Degrees/Awards include, HND (Bldg/Civin Eng), B.Sc. (Business Admin), MBA (HRM) and M.Phil/Ph.D. (Business Admin). Dr. Ifere is also a Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Management (FNIM) and a Member of the Academy of Management Nigeria and the Academy of International Business.
