Pinnacle Trains Over 100 Staff to Strengthen Workplace Safety Culture
Pinnacle Oil & Gas has successfully concluded an intensive in-house Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Levels 1 and 2 training programme for over 100 staff members drawn from its haulage business, head office and tank farm facilities.
The training formed part of the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen workplace safety and ensure strict compliance with industry safety standards. During the programme, participants received practical guidance on hazard identification, risk assessment and control, emergency response procedures, incident reporting protocols, and safe handling of petroleum products and equipment.
Speaking on the initiative, the company’s Corporate HSE Manager, Jacob Eschem, emphasised that continuous training is critical in an industry where safety must remain a top priority.
He noted that strengthening employees’ capacity to identify risks early, respond appropriately to incidents, and maintain safe operational practices is essential to protecting lives, safeguarding assets, and preventing environmental hazards.
The training also reinforced Pinnacle’s broader commitment to maintaining a strong safety culture across its operations.
By investing in staff capacity and safety awareness, the company continues to prioritise the protection of its workforce, the environment, and the communities in which it operates.
