Pinnacle Backs Health and Wellness, Sponsors Enugu City International Marathon
Leading energy company, Pinnacle Oil and Gas Limited, has thrown its weight behind the Enugu City International Marathon as the official energy partner of the 2026 edition, reinforcing its commitment to promoting health, wellness and positive social impact in Nigeria.
Organised by Nilayo Sports Management Limited and endorsed by the Enugu State Government, the Enugu City International Marathon is designed to promote athletic excellence, healthy living, tourism and community engagement, while positioning Enugu as a leading destination for international sports tourism.
Holding under the theme, “Tomorrow Runs Here,” the 2026 edition will feature a flagship 42KM Marathon and a 10KM Road Race, bringing together elite international athletes, indigenous runners, fitness enthusiasts and corporate teams. The professionally designed 42KM route will showcase Enugu’s scenic landscapes, historic landmarks, urban infrastructure and vibrant culture, with all races finishing at Michael Okpara Square.
Speaking on the partnership, Managing Director/CEO of Pinnacle Oil and Gas Limited, Adenike Labinjo, said the company’s support for the marathon reflects its broader Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitment to creating meaningful value for society.
