Pinnacle Reinforces Corporate Values at TGIF Celebration

Pinnacle Oil and Gas Limited reaffirmed its commitment to its core values during its second-quarter 2026 Thank God It’s Friday (TGIF) celebration, held on 31 July 2026 across its Victoria Island headquarters, Warri operations, and Lekki Free Trade Zone terminal.

The event showcased the company’s guiding principles: Integrity, Innovation, Respect for the Individual, Team Spirit, Customer-Centricity, and Care for Safety, Health and the Environment—through a vibrant cultural celebration inspired by a traditional Nigerian wedding featuring an Igbo groom and a Yoruba bride. The theme highlighted Nigeria’s rich cultural diversity while reinforcing the values that define the Pinnacle workplace.

Employees embraced the occasion in colourful traditional attire, enjoying authentic cuisine, music, dance, and cultural performances that reflected the country’s diverse heritage.

Beyond the festivities, the mock traditional marriage served as an engaging platform for promoting cultural awareness, mutual respect, and appropriate workplace behaviour across Nigeria’s various ethnic groups.

Speaking at the event, Head, Human Resources, Mrs. Mabel I. Akinniranye, noted that the celebration was about more than entertainment.

“It was more than a celebration. It was a reflection of who we are as one Pinnacle family. The values that have sustained African communities for generations—respect, unity, integrity, and care for one another—are the same values that continue to shape our culture at Pinnacle,” she said.

The event concluded with renewed appreciation for Nigeria’s cultural heritage and a shared commitment among employees to uphold the values that continue to drive Pinnacle’s growth and operational excellence.
