Pinnacle Marks International Women’s Day
Pinnacle Oil and Gas Limited joined millions of women around the world to celebrate International Women’s Day 2026, organising a series of activities aimed at promoting the wellbeing and empowerment of its female workforce. The celebration, held under the theme “Give to Gain,” culminated in a special event on 9 March 2026.
The programme brought together female staff from across the company’s operations, including employees from the Free Trade Zone tank farm, the haulage business, and the corporate headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event provided an opportunity for staff to reflect on the significance of the global celebration while also engaging in discussions on issues that directly affect the financial and personal wellbeing of women in the workplace.
As part of the programme, Lauretta Chioke from First City Monument Bank and Joan John from Custodian Life Assurance delivered presentations on financial planning, savings culture, investment strategies, and long-term financial security for women.
A mental health advocate, Ebunoluwa Collins from Leadway, also led a session focused on managing stress, maintaining work-life balance, and prioritising physical and mental wellbeing in demanding professional environments.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle Oil and Gas Limited, Mrs. Adenike Labinjo, encouraged women to take an active interest in their professional growth and support the development of other women.
She urged participants to remain committed to excellence and continuous self-improvement, noting that with dedication and resilience, women can reach the pinnacle of their careers.
